New Member of the Family
We are proud to present the newest member of our family-Turner. He's a cute little dog with a lot of personality! Nolan loves him and has a lot of fun playing with him. Nolan loves him so much that he insisted on his name. He got the name from Handy Manny-Turner, his favorite character. We're excited to have him!

Tribute To Scruffy
I am sad to say that Scruffy is no longer here with us. As many of you know, Scruffy had not been doing well during the last few months and took a turn for the worse. We adopted Scruffy 5 years ago from a friend from work. She had found Scruffy wandering the streets. Although his exact age wasn't known, he was about 2 years old. Scruffy had a terrible skin fungus and was cured of it. Once we adopted him he was a lot of fun. Bobby and I always laughed at how uncoordinated he was because he would always trip on his walks. He had funny ears and terrible teeth, but he had the best personality. He was a kind and obedient dog who brought us a lot of laughs. Although the vet always scolded us for his weight, we could never get it down. We walked him every night and put him on a green bean diet, yet we could only get him to lose 4 pounds over the course of a 2 years. During his last few months, Scruffy went blind and began losing weight. Within a few months Scruffy went from 42 pounds to less then 20. It was a very hard thing to do, but we didn't want Scruffy to suffer. He will always have a special place in our hearts and we know that he is up in heaven with Astro, McKeever and Beau. We love you Scruffy!

CRASH!
So I know I recently did a blog on how much I love technology, but I guess I jinxed myself because my computer crashed!!! This is the first time that I have ever had a computer crash on me. I could not believe it. I somehow managed to get the computer to restart, but all of my saved stuff was deleted and my internet reverted to the year 2000. It's the weirdest thing. Everytime I log on to the internet I have flashbacks to living in the dorms. So now I'm on the hunt for a new computer...What a pain!

Am I Asking Too Much??
So this last week I have been working so hard to organize my office. I've been going through pictures, old school notebooks, high school year books, Bobby's mission and the kids' baby stuff. It has taken me so long to get things more organized and the other night I decided I was finally done. I was feeling pretty good about myself until I started looking around the rest of the house and realizing that I had to update the pictures on the wall, I don't like half of the frames my pictures are in, my carpet needs to be cleaned, and the list goes on and on. Am I asking too much to have one day when my house is completely cleaned and organized? I don't need a month or even a week, just one day when all my laundry is done, the carpets are cleaned, my pictures are organized, my floor is mopped and my kids decide that they want to sleep in til 8:00. Is that so much to ask?

"I love technology"
We finally got a TiVo! I even have a wireless connection if you can believe that (thanks Ericka). I think Ericka should do a morning show on the latest technology gadgets. How do you know all this stuff??? Anyhow, I finally made it to 2004! It's not that we don't like technology, I guess we just get into our own little routines, or maybe Bobby's too cheap-it's the latter:) Anyhow, we finally have TiVo and it is so great. My next step is to get a phone that isn't from 2004:) Here are some pictures of Nolan using our old iPod (one thing we do have from 2007). He loves to listen to a counting song from Imagination Movers.
